When she finally stepped out of the vehicle, she did not go to the back of the truck to get any parcel, but came running up the stairs to my door, and I walked to my front door to try to intercept her. I saw the UPS truck pull in front of my home, where the driver seemed to spend some time hunched over in the driver seat. I had a time-sensitive UPS delivery scheduled one day, and was working from my laptop in my living room the entire day where I had a clear view of anyone coming to my front door. The driver also neither rang my doorbell nor knocked when I opened the door on him, or when he supposedly came by earlier. The time specified on the delivery notice was the time I opened my door, however, and it wasn't even noon yet. When I asked where my package was, he apologized and said he didn't have it, and tried to make some excuse that he was here earlier in the morning but didn't receive an answer, so he left but came back again to post the delivery attempted notice after having already dropped my parcel off at a UPS Access Point. I opened the door to find the UPS driver posting a delivery attempted notice but empty-handed otherwise. Since I had work and couldn't wait for the package, I began getting ready to leave for work around noon and heard something brushing against my door. I had a UPS delivery scheduled for one morning, but was later notified that the estimated delivery time was rescheduled to "before end of day". When messaged him, he confirmed that the delivery instructions specified to have the parcel left with me. I walked over to my neighbor's door to see a "Delivery Attempted" sticker had been posted at their door. I happened to be at my window and saw the UPS driver pull in front of my neighbor's home, ascend the stairs leading up to their door empty-handed, then rush back to the truck and drive away. My neighbor was out of town and specified to have his parcels left with me. While I was initially gaslighted into believing that I perhaps didn't hear the doorbell or knock, a few incidents occurred recently that made me certain that the delivery drivers don't even carry the parcels of everyone they are supposed to deliver to. ![]() It would appear that I am not the only one to experience receiving an attempted delivery notice from UPS in spite of having been home all day waiting for it.
